Instrumentarium Orthopantomograph® 3D Digital Imaging

Our dental office is committed to bringing you and your family the best in oral healthcare. While your ultimate goal is to leave our office with a beautiful, healthy smile, our goal is to get you to that point as effectively and safely as possible. Advanced 3D digital imaging is just one way we can do that.

The Instrumentarium Orthopantomograph 3D digital imaging system allows us to understand more about your anatomy from all dimensions, providing us with all the information we need to formulate the most effective treatment plans. With this technology, we can perform procedures that are often less invasive, better for your health, and offer outcomes that are more predictable.

3D digital imaging is an effective diagnostic and treatment-planning tool for:

  • Dental implants
  • Wisdom teeth extractions
  • Impactions
  • TMJ treatment
  • Airway assessments and sleep apnea
  • Full facial and jaw 3D images

In order to acquire your 3D image, an assistant will position you in the unit and ask you to place your chin on the chin rest. When you are in the correct position, the X-ray imaging device will rotate around your head. The scan is painless and the 3D images acquired will be available for immediate viewing on our computers.

For those concerned about radiation exposure, the Instrumentarium Orthopantomograph 3D digital imaging system uses Low Dose Technology™, one of the lowest radiation exposure settings in dental imaging. It is ideal for sensitive cases such as children, follow-ups, implant planning, or any other case where lower resolution is acceptable.

We have invested in 3D digital technology to better serve you and your family, and provide the best care we can.

Dental Emergencies don’t belong in the ER. We are currently consolidating care into a limited number of offices for Essential and Emergency services only. Our goal is to keep patients safe and pain-free and to ease pressure on our overburdened emergency room system. Please call (702) 260-0102 and our team will help you assess your care needs and locate the nearest available office. Enhanced Safety Protocols have been put in place for your protection.
